The scene inside the Jammu and Kashmir assembly became like a kabaddi ground today when the MLAs of the ruling and opposition parties clashed with each other. The reason was that a poster of Article 370 (Jammu Kashmir Article 370) caused a lot of ruckus when waved.
Something happened in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly (Jammu Kashmir Assembly Poster Drama) today, and everyone was ashamed. The MLAs got into a scuffle as if they were common people walking on the road. The ruckus started with the waving of a poster of Engineer Rashid’s brother and MLA from Langot Khurshid Ahmed. This poster related to the return of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir heated the atmosphere in the House to such an extent that Mahabharata broke out. The tussle between BJP MLAs and them over the poster turned into a scuffle.
As soon as Engineer Rashid’s brother Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh waved the banner inside the assembly, BJP MLAs opposed it. Khurshid Ahmed reached the Speaker’s seat waving the poster and did not listen even after being interrupted several times. The scene looked exactly like a Kabaddi ground. MLAs of the ruling and opposition parties started pulling each other.
This ruckus started after Awami Ittida Party MLA from Langate assembly seat and Engineer Rashid’s brother Khurshid Ahmed Sheikh waved the banner of Article 370 in the House, which led to a scuffle. This poster with the slogan “Return of 370 in Jammu and Kashmir” heated up the atmosphere in the House to such an extent that Mahabharata broke out.
BJP leader and leader of opposition in the assembly Sunil Sharma opposed the display of the banner of Article 370. In this tug-of-war for the poster, BJP MLAs won and snatched the poster from Khurshid Sheikh and then tore it into pieces.
The surprising thing is that when the ruckus was happening in the House, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was present there and was watching the entire uproar from his seat. The MLAs were creating ruckus and shouting slogans and the Speaker was appealing to everyone to sit on their seats and maintain peace. But Omar Abdullah kept watching all this.
The situation became such that the marshals had to come and intervene. The marshals threw out some of the MLAs of the opposition who were creating a ruckus, in the video too the marshals can be seen dragging the MLAs out.
Uproar over the return of Article 370
