Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore witnessed a massive turnout of devotees for the Prabhat Pheri of Lord Ranjit Hanuman on a cold Monday morning.

Lakhs of worshippers, most of them walking barefoot, participated in the grand procession that started at 5 am from the Ranjeet Hanuman Temple and returned by 11:30 am, covering a 4 km route in over six hours.

As dawn broke amidst chilly winds and fog, the Prabhat Pheri came alive with vibrant fireworks and deafening chants of “Jai Ranjeet-Jai Ranjeet,” elevating the festival’s enthusiasm. Most devotees wore saffron-colored attire, adding to the fervor of the occasion.

The highlights of the procession included the Hanumat Dhwaja Nasik Dhol Band and beautifully handcrafted tableaus of Lord Hanuman. The route covered Ranjit Hanuman Temple, Mhow Naka Square, Annapurna Temple, and back to the starting point.

To manage the arrangements, 2,000 members of the Ranjit Bhakta Mandal coordinated efforts, while over 800 police personnel ensured the security of the event.

The police worked in coordination with the organizing committee to ensure the safety of the devotees, many of whom brought their families and children despite the cold climate.

This meticulous planning permitted the grand event to proceed without any interruptions, reflecting the deep devotion and collective spirit of the participants.
