Kejriwal announced that he would hold a press conference today at 12 afternoon.
Former Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal claimed in a social media post on Wednesday that Chief Minister Atishi might be arrested soon.
“The Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana severely rattle these people. They have planned to arrest Atishi ji in the next few days by filing false cases,” Kejriwal said.
He further alleged that before Atishi’s arrest, raids would be conducted on senior AAP leaders. Kejriwal announced that he would hold a press conference today at noon.
The Aam Aadmi Party has recently launched a registration campaign for the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjievani Yojana, keeping in view the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. However, just two days after the campaign’s launch, Delhi Government’s Health, Women and Child Development Department released a statement saying that the government is not running such schemes.
The Delhi Government has also told people not to share their personal information with political parties.
