The main shooter of Baba Siddiqui’s murder case, Shiva, was fleeing from Indian soil. STF caught him on the border itself. Shiva revealed many secrets during the interrogation of about two hours in the hotel.
A joint team of the Mumbai Crime Branch and STF took action on Sunday in Bahraich, UP. The team caught the main shooter of the Baba Siddiqui murder case who was fleeing to Nepal. If there had been some delay, he would have crossed the Indian soil. But, the team laid a trap in such a way that he was caught. Along with him, four helpers have also been caught.

The team took action near Handa Basehari village in the Nanpara Kotwali area. Shooter Shiva was trying to flee to Nepal with his companions by roadways bus. He is a resident of Gandara village of Kaiserganj. His four other companions have also been caught. The team took them with them to Delhi.
The interrogation lasted for about two hours in the hotel
Mumbai Crime Branch and STF personnel arrived in four Innova vehicles near Hada Basehari village. A roadways bus was stopped on Nepalganj Nanpara road. Some suspicious youths were taken off the bus and taken to a nearby hotel. Here everyone interrogated the suspects for about two hours.
He was fleeing to Nepal with his companions
After this, the team took everyone with them. The team got the main gate of the hotel closed during the interrogation. No one was allowed to go inside. The STF team included in-charge Pramesh Kumar Shukla, Sub-Inspector Javed Alam Siddiqui, etc. The team has confirmed that the shooter has fled to Nepal.
Helper also arrested
It is being told that shooter Shiva has revealed many important secrets during interrogation. After this, the team took him with them. However, no official confirmation has been made yet, what all he has told? The team has arrested shooter Shiva’s associates Anurag Kashyap, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Akash Srivastava, and Akhilesh Pratap Singh for providing shelter to him and helping him escape to Nepal. Bags were recovered from the arrested people. Clothes and mobiles etc. were found in them.
CO Nanpara confirmed
CO Nanpara Pradumn Singh said that one of the youths arrested by ATS is Shiva, a resident of Kaiserganj and absconding accused in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. His four other associates have also been arrested. The team has taken them with them. There is no information about what they were questioned about.
