A huge fire erupted on Sunday in the Poonam Chambers building, opposite Atria Mall on Annie Besant Road in the Worli area of Mumbai. Ten fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene to fight the blaze.
The fire is reportedly restricted to the second floor of the seven-story commercial building. Firefighters are still working to stop the fire from spreading to other floors.

Speaking about the incident, a former Maharashtra minister and the local MLA of the area, Aaditya Thackeray told the media, “There was a fire, but the good news is that there were no casualties. Firefighters are continuing their efforts to quench the fire. “
