Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday (November 4) accused the Congress and its allies of using abusive language against women leaders of other parties. He strongly criticized the objectionable comments made against Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Shaina NC in Maharashtra and Sita Soren in Jharkhand.
The Prime Minister said, “A sister is contesting elections in Maharashtra, the kind of dirty language used for her has become their habit…” Modi made this statement at a rally held in Chaibasa, Jharkhand.
The Prime Minister said that the people of Maharashtra are ready to give a befitting reply to the Congress and its allies in the elections. Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Arvind Sawant apologized after his “imported maal” remark stirred up a controversy.
