As he made the announcement about Nunes’ appointment, Trump outlined his experience as former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Trump also spoke about Nunes’ work in exposing the Russian intervention issue in the US Presidential Election 2024.

Nunes was born on 1 October 1973 in California. He is of Portuguese lineage. His family moved from the Azores, Portugal to California.
