Vehicles going towards the station premises have been banned by putting a barrier near the Malgodown Road Parcel Gate. Also, a temporary police post has been set up in the circulating area.
RPF, and GRP have also barricaded the way coming to the station from under the Cantt flyover. Only pedestrians are allowed to move. There was so much crowd on Monday evening that passengers were stopped in the circulating area itself.
Commercial and RPF have been deployed on the route from the passenger hall to the platform, and are giving entry to the passengers going to the platform only after checking their tickets and only when the train arrives. Commercial staff has also been deployed at the second entry gate, who are giving entry to the devotees only after the train has arrived on the platform. Two to two and a half lakh passengers are traveling through the Cantt station in 24 hours.
From general to AC coaches, everyone is in the same condition
Apart from special trains, there is a crowd in regular trains as well. All the coaches of long-distance regular trains are jam-packed. From general to AC coaches, everyone is in the same condition. Passengers who have taken AC tickets are not able to reach their seats. There is no hearing even after complaining.

Passengers are going from one side and coming from the other. This experiment has been quite relieving for the devotees. At night, there was a huge crowd of passengers during Shivganga and Banaras Superfast. Passengers were not allowed to gather at one place on the FOB.
