New Delhi: In response to drone attacks by Pakistan on Indian border towns overnight, India carried out airstrikes on three important airbases of Pakistan – Noor Khan, Murid, and Rafiki under Operation Sindoor. In this retaliation, India also targeted big cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.

According to sources, India used air-to-surface missiles and drones for these attacks. According to reports, Pakistan has lost many resources of the Air Force in these attacks, although Pakistan has denied any damage or casualties.

India shot down two Pakistani fighter jets in retaliation.

On Friday night, Pakistan carried out drone attacks on 26 locations from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat.

The targeted locations include Baramulla, Srinagar, Awantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuwarbet in Kutch, and Lakhi Nala.

The Indian air defence system foiled all the attacks.

Three people were injured when debris from a Pakistani drone fell on a house in Ferozepur.

Pakistan launched 300-400 drones on Thursday night, which were intercepted by the Indian security system.

Tube-launched drones and terror launch pads launched from near Jammu have also been destroyed by the Indian Army.

The Indian armed forces are on high alert, and every aerial threat is being monitored.

Several explosions were heard around Srinagar.

Earlier, India had launched Operation Sindoor on Wednesday, targeting 9 terror camps in Pakistan and PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) in response to the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22.
