In a video surfacing on social media, the two were seen walking past each other when Kohli made contact with the 19-year-old.
The incident occurred after the tenth over of the innings as Kohli, with the ball, was walking past Kontas and made contact with his shoulder. Kohli and Konstas also exchanged some words, causing Usman Khawaja and the umpire to interfere, thereby stopping the incident from escalating any further.
