This time Rohit Shetty has brought back Ajay Devgn’s Bajirao Singham to tell the story of a modern Ramayan. With a full-on action package, this film falls in the category of family entertainment, in which a crowd of Bollywood stars present the battle between Ram and Ravana on screen.
Director: Rohit Shetty
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Shweta Tiwari
Release: In Cinemas
Rating: 3 stars
Each character in the film comes with a special entry for the audience, and every scene is designed in such a way that the impact of each character remains. The story of the film is simple: Bajirao Singham captures a dreaded terrorist (Jackie Shroff) and his arrest forces another villain (Arjun Kapoor) to kidnap Singham’s wife (Kareena Kapoor Khan). To understand the connection between these events, you have to watch the whole film.
Deepika Padukone’s role in the film seems a bit strange and unusual. She does not fit into any of the main characters (Shabri, Shurpanakha, or Mandodari), and her acting as well as her accent weakens in many places.
Characters like Ranveer Singh (Simba) and Akshay Kumar (Sooryavanshi) in the film keep every part of the film interesting for the audience. At the same time, Tiger Shroff looks impressive with his action. The sets and backgrounds in the film are also set up brilliantly, which makes every scene exciting for the audience.
Rohit Shetty has once again kept the audience engaged with his mix of action and comedy. Although some scenes may seem a bit stretched and some could have been edited, still this entertainment package of the ‘Copperverse’ gives full-on entertainment to the audience.
