A 40-year-old man was brutally murdered in a heart-wrenching incident on Thursday night in Dargah Gali in the Bandra area of ​​Mumbai. According to the police, the deceased had opposed the drug smuggling going on in the area, due to which this attack took place. Two relatives of the deceased have also been injured in this attack.

Attacked with sharp weapons after entering the house

According to Bandra Police Station, the deceased has been identified as Shakir Ali. The attackers entered his house late at night and attacked him with sharp weapons. Shakir’s sister-in-law, Shirin, and nephew, Afzal, were also injured in the attack. Shakir died on the spot, while the other injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Four accused, including drug smugglers, arrested

The police have arrested four people in this case: Imran Pathan, his wife Fatima Zakir Ali alias Kainat, Usman Zakir Ali, and Zakir Ali Sendole. It is said that all these accused have already been involved in the drug business, and many criminal cases are registered against them.

Shakir’s sister told the story of the painful incident

Shakir’s sister Firoza, while talking to the media, said that the real mastermind is drug smuggler Salman Malik and his wife Soni, who used to supply drugs to Imran Pathan and his wife. She said, “They pulled out my brother’s intestines with a sword and broke his head with a bat.”

The family was harassed with false allegations

Firoza made another serious allegation and said that on returning from Mira Road, she came to know that a case had been registered against her under Section 326 of the IPC, in which she was accused of retaliating against the attackers. She also claimed that her family had been falsely accused of rape earlier and some staff at Bhabha Hospital had helped the attackers by preparing fake medical reports.

However, no concrete evidence has been found by the police regarding these allegations. Firoza also said that she had earlier lodged complaints against the threats of the attackers, but the administration did not take any concrete action.
