Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has again received a death threat. This threat has come after the murder of NCP leader and Salman’s close friend Baba Siddiqui, behind which the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has come to the fore. On the charge of this threat, the police have arrested 20-year-old youth Gulfan Khan from Noida, who will be brought to Mumbai soon so that further action can be taken.
Baba Siddiqui’s son Zeeshan Siddiqui has also received a similar threat from the same youth. Zeeshan said that Salman was very upset after his father’s death and was unable to sleep at night.
Salman constantly receives threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which are related to his 1998 blackbuck hunting controversy. The controversy started when Salman was accused of hunting a blackbuck in Rajasthan, which is revered by the Bishnoi community. The community had demanded an apology from Salman, but Salman did not turn up, after which Lawrence Bishnoi vowed to kill him.
Recently, Baba Siddiqui was murdered in Mumbai on Dussehra. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the murder and cited Baba’s close relationship with Salman as one of the reasons for the murder.
Salman’s father, Salim Khan, says that Salman was not present at the time of the incident and that it is wrong to blame him in this case. He said, “If Salman apologizes, it will mean that he is guilty, whereas he did not do anything like that. All this is happening just to extort money from us.”
